Our solar canopies will sustain a significant amount of snow loading. If heavy accumulated snow persists for many days, it is recommended that the snow be cleared properly.
We have observed that much snow will simply slide off the “slippery” panels or through the perforations. Although there will be some PV absorption by the solar panels during a snowstorm, any significant accumulating snow can easily be swept off the panels with a broom.
