Made in the USA, the enhanced Eclipse Solar Charging Umbrella line gives outdoor spaces an off-grid power upgrade with a sleeker, more efficient design and an ultra-durable new aluminum option.
Huntingdon Valley, PA – February 20, 2026 – Sunbolt, a pioneer in solar-powered outdoor charging solutions, today announced the expansion of its popular Eclipse Solar Charging Umbrella line with two distinct offerings: an updated awning-grade fabric canopy design, now featuring a new solar panel pattern, and the all-new Aluminum Canopy option, a permanent addition to the lineup. Both products are manufactured in the USA and are designed to transform any standard outdoor umbrella table into an off-grid solar charging station.
The reimagined Fabric Canopy version of the Eclipse represents a meaningful evolution of a proven product. By replacing the previous panel array with a smaller number of higher-efficiency solar panels, delivering 88W of DC solar power, Sunbolt has produced a more streamlined, lightweight canopy without sacrificing performance. The result is a sleeker profile that fits more naturally into the aesthetic of parks, plazas, campuses, hospitality spaces, and other outdoor environments. Available in six standard awning-grade Sunbrella® fabric colors, the collapsible umbrella fits any table with a standard 1.5-inch umbrella hole and can also be used as a stand-alone unit with a base.
The Eclipse Solar Charging Umbrella – Aluminum Canopy is an entirely new product, offering a durable, non-collapsible option for permanent or semi-permanent installations. Its rigid aluminum canopy houses a 110W DC solar array and is available in over 30 powder coat finishes, giving specifiers and facility managers broad flexibility to match existing site furnishings and architectural palettes. The stainless steel center post and aluminum hardware are built for long-term outdoor endurance.
Both Eclipse models share a common charging infrastructure: six dual-port USB/USB-C fast-charging outlets, two 7Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, and an MPPT charge controller, delivering reliable, off-grid power for smartphones, tablets, and other handheld devices throughout the day and into the evening. A five-year expected service life and a three-year workmanship warranty underscore the durability built into every unit. An optional lighting upgrade is available for the fabric canopy model, and the fabric canopy is available in two sizes: 7.5’ or 9’ diameter.
“At Sunbolt, we strive to help our customers’ sustainability commitments, and the Eclipse series provides an accessible means to support them,” said Vanessa Branco, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Sunbolt. “What we hear from facilities teams and business owners is that they want visible and functional green infrastructure that people utilize and notice. The Eclipse delivers that in a format that works with the furniture they already have. You don’t need to redesign your outdoor space to provide off-grid mobile-device charging. You can now easily transform your existing furniture into solar charging stations with the Eclipse Solar Charging Umbrella.”
Both Eclipse Solar Charging Umbrellas are manufactured in the USA, continuing Sunbolt’s commitment to domestic production. Sunbolt’s full line of solar-powered outdoor charging solutions, including its Solar Workstations, Solar Carousels, and Stand-ups, are deployed at colleges, universities, parks, municipalities, and community sites across the country, helping organizations meet sustainability targets while improving outdoor connectivity and wellness.
